Since most people make their money by working for someone else, I thought it important to start with this first. If I were to ask you how you can make more money from your job you'd probably say...promotion. Being promoted is definately the most common way of accomplishing what we're talking about here. But how do you get promoted???
Lets face it... You can lie about your abilities in an interview, but the longer you work for someone they are going to see the truth in what you actually do. Since this is the case step1 would be not to lie at interviews.
- Display integrity: Do what you say you are going to do. This means being careful when accepting responsibility and knowing when to say no to people.
- Todays work today: Let this be your passion...working willingly to do my part
- Spend 5 minutes everyday getting to know your colleagues.
- Learn from the people around you and attend courses regularly... prepare for where you want to go.
- Show genuine concern for the organization by your deeds...words mean nothing.

Here the sky is the limit! This can happen very quickly and doesn't have to cost alot of money. The most important thing is to take note of how your business makes money at present, so that you know what areas to accelerate. So lets get into this...
- Identify what activities lead to profits in your business: Marketing, for example.
- How can you double your efforts without spending more money? This is a crucial question which MUST be answered. The problem with unsuccessful business owners is that they don't know which questions to ask.
- Be more efficient: usually people think, "fire some people"... this is not what I am talking about. Identify areas of waste, then take your savings from this activity and re-invest in your business.
